SELF-RESCUE IN AVALANCHE
The chances of survival after being hit by an avalanche are very high if the rescue operation is carried out within the first 15 minutes. Beyond this range, the odds drop dramatically. We therefore understand how important it is to be able to take action with a self-rescue operation, which is possible only if you have the equipment and a good ability to perform the rescue operation with all its phases.
The program is designed for both beginners and those who already have sufficient knowledge to practice off-piste skiing and ski touring activities independently.
The course goal is to train and/or update those who are passionate about the winter activities in the mountains on the new techniques of self-rescue in avalanche that are now adopted in the professional field.
The training of all passionate of snow activities is really important to prevent accidents and provide the necessary knowledge and operate them properly in the event of an avalanche accident.
The self-rescue session includes a ski mountaineering trip where you will learn how to use properly the safety kit and how to read and evaluate the snow, the exposure and the environment around us.
Depending on the snow/weather conditions, your physical training and your technical skills.
